full-time wheel shop technician

Q1 Aviation is a trusted source for aircraft repair that continues to provide outstanding service to the aviation community. We are currently recruiting a wheel technicians to join our team in Mississauga.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Overhaul and repair aircraft wheels and components including teardown, inspection, strip, paint, and reassemble wheels and other aircraft components to Manufacturer specifications.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma with experience in technical environment
Must possess strong technical skills
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to learn new methods and related repair procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Read and follow manufacturers’ instructions to repair and overhaul aircraft component assemblies
All related finishing duties including paint removal, prep & painting
Associated paperwork

SALARY

Competitive wages available – negotiable based on experience/training.
