Q1 Aviation is a trusted source for aircraft repair providing outstanding service to the Aviation community since 2010.  We are currently recruiting 2 Full Time Painters and 4 Full Time Polishers to Join our team in YUL for both Day and afternoon shifts.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Paint Repairs, paint touch up work and polishing on Aircraft.
• Location: Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport (YUL)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Degree with min 3 Years experience in Aviation or Automotive refinishing.• Or successful completion of either Aircraft Maintenance or Aircraft Structure repair training by a T.C. approved ATO• Current WHIMIS, HUMAN FACTORS, Working at Heights Training would be an asset.• Ability to Read and follow Basic Blueprints, Technical Manuals and Manufacturers recommendations with a high degree of understanding and accuracy.• Strong communication, organizational and decision-making skills.• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment while following supervisors’direction.

• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Necessary Tools

Job Duties

• Repair of Paint Defects by sanding, rework, touch-up and polishing to manufacturers specifications.• Use of sanders, spray guns, pencil guns, polishers including setup of overspray & environmental containment apparatus.• Proper use of PPE• Working at Heights and use of restraints will be required.• Work alternating afternoon /Day Shifts and attend required training.

Note: All successful applicants will be required to attend a practical training session and successfully pass a practical evaluation prior to commencement.
